Indian Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
- In a pan, heat butter and add the marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is almost done.
- Add tomato puree and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Add cream and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
