Italian Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with some additional fresh basil if desired.
